As the host of the first Washington District 4 tournament of the year, Union put together a great tournament!

It featured donated food from Panera Bread and Chipotle Mexican Grill as well as a large turn out of over 100 competitors!

At our own tournament on November 5th and 6th, we had a great deal of individual competitor success.

Emily Lore and Sunjay Cauligi: 1st in Public Forum Debate

Adam Kinkley and Greg Mulderink: 3rd in Public Forum Debate

Emily Lore: 2nd in Original Oratory

Sunjay Cauligi: 2nd in Novice Humerous Interpretation

Adam Kinkley: 2nd in Open Student Congress Debate

Allison Rogers: 1st in Lincoln Douglas Debate, 1st in Impromptu, 3rd in Extemporaneous

Emily Willeman: 1st in Interpretive Reading, 1st in Expository, 2nd in Dramatic Interpretation

The team also did well at the larger Tualatin High School tournament on November 14th.

Alyssa Larson: 1st in Student Congress

Adam Kinkley: 2nd in Extemporaneous

Ashley Kuhn: 3rd in Student Congress

Emily Lore: Finalist in Impromptu

The season seems to be off to a great start! Go Titans!
